Wellness Services

Group Yoga Guidance: Small, all-levels group classes in a comfortable, inviting space exploring different yoga styles (vinyasa to restorative).  May include pranayama, meditation, and yogic philosophy.  Groups are usually less than ten which provides students more one-on-one instruction and assistance with their practice.  Students learn about their own modifications and are able to request certain aspects they would like to learn.  Small classes are generally less intimidating to new yoga students and often cultivates a sense of community. 
(Prepaid session package rate $10 per class (i.e. 8 classes = $80 pp) or Drop-In $13 pp.

Yoga Nidra:  
Experiencing stress, hypertension, migraines, diabetes, asthma, ulcers, skin diseases, digestive disorders, depression or insomnia?  Yoga Nidra can help balance your body, focus your mind, and lift your spirits!  Also known as wakeful sleep, Yoga Nidra is an ancient systematic method of guided relaxations using imagery, breath awareness, and body scanning.  The perfect antidote for the frantic pace and over-stimulated nervous system running through our daily lives.  Blend of consultation & practice (60 min/$50 pp) *Yoga Nidra In Depth Independent Study completion recommended prior to this session.  (Bundle both sessions together but scheduled separately $85: save $15)

Meditation: 
By dictionary definition, meditation means to reflect upon, ponder, or contemplate.  It comes from the Latin meditari which means to think about or consider.  The root word of meditate, med, means to take appropriate measures."  Sounds great!  Simple?  Why it may be simple in nature and design, it can be anything but simple to do.  Learn just where to begin meditating and how to become the witness to your sometimes overactive mind.  Regularly meditating already?  Deepen your existing practice with a fresh perspective of techniques and tools.  
Blend of consultation and practice (60 minutes/$50 pp)

Pranayama/Breath Practice: One of the most accessible pathways into the capabilities of the human nervous system is through yogic breathing.  A focused breath practice can bring a sense of physical well-being, clarity of mind, and lightness of heart.  Blend of consultation and practice  (60 minutes/$50 pp)

Yoga In Depth Independent Study:  Learn about a specific topic of interest (some are listed below) which will broaden your understanding and enrich your life and yoga practice.  Includes power point topic presentation, Q & A, take home materials, and book recommendations.

Reiki (pronounced ray - key) is an ancient Japanese technique of energy work to reduce stress, promote healing, and bring deep relaxation, wellness and personal growth.  Administered with the practitioner's hands in prescribed hand positions.  Rei (Universal)
Ki (Life Energy) is a non-invasive, gentle, and never harmful form of holistic complementary care which may have profound benefits.  All sessions are private and confidential.       (60 minutes/$65 ~ Yoga Private & Reiki Package  $100/60 min each; save $25) Yoga private and Reiki to be scheduled in two appointments.  Refer a new Reiki client and receive $10 off your next Reiki session (package does not apply).


Hand or Foot Aromatherapy Massage Treatment:  The hands and feet contain numerous  energetic pathways (meridians) to the entire body.  Tap into the "healing highways" with a gentle massage for tired feet and aching hands using essential oils if you prefer (All oils are used with carrier oils such as coconut, almond, or camellia seed oil).  A great treat for yourself after a yoga class to strengthen the flow of energy and leave you feeling relaxed.  (Advance notice preferred.  Hands 10 minutes/$10; Feet 10 minutes/$15) 

Handmade aromatherapy essential oil products now available at the studio!

One of the special features you will find from a private studio is classes are smaller, usually less than 10, as compared to other group classes which
gives students with more attention and assistance from the teacher to their practice.  Students are able to learn more about their own modifications and are also able to request certain aspects they would like to learn.  Small classes are less intimidating to new yoga students and it cultivates a sense of community with other students and the teacher.
